About Us

Colores United was created in 2019 after a conversation amongst friends about the validity of “Deming being the poorest city in New Mexico.” Some people choose to believe and live it, and there are those that choose to change it. With many positive programs in our town, county, and state, adding Colores United to ongoing positive efforts only increases the strength of our community.


For our community to live their lives to the fullest, we believe they must find and focus on the proper balance between the body, mind, and soul. Every Colores United program weaves Trauma Informed Practices into the basis of each, ensuring us to remember that those we serve come in an array of healing stages.
